What is ergonomics?

Ergonomics is the art and science of designing work with workers in mind. The primary goal of most ergonomics programs is to lower the risk of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) by reducing hazards. Additional benefits include improved comfort, morale, productivity, quality, and efficiency.

Memberships

We promote the certification of ergonomists through the Canadian College for the Certification of Professional Ergonomists. All of our ergonomists are members of the Association of Canadian Ergonomists, and are either CCPE certified, or on a clearly-defined path towards certification.
